PROJECT SUMMARY:

The Rock Creek Middle School Project is being planned for construction on a 21 acre site just east of 162nd Avenue in Happy Valley at 14897 SE Parklane Drive.  The new building will be approximately 129,000 SF.  Rock Creek MIddle School is being designed for 750 students.  The new middle school is scheduled to be put into operation for the start of 2010-2011 school year.

Upcoming Activities:

  • City of Happy Valley Design Review Approval was granted in December 2008

  • Construction Documents have been completed and a bid pack for the building is being prepared for a January 2009 bid

  • The grading contractor continues to work on site grading, work on perimeter roads (Rock Creek Boulevard, SE 162nd Avenue and Parklane Drive), and site utilities.
