Scouters Mountain Elementary

The Scouters Mountain Elementary School Project is being constructed on a 10 acre site at 10811 SE 172nd in Happy Valley approximately ½ mile north of Haggen Road. The new building will be approximately 60,000 SF. The Elementary School (Kindergarten through 6th Grade) will accommodate 550 students. The new Elementary School is scheduled to be put into operation for the start of the 2009-2010 school year.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
- Concrete floors classroom wing, office area, and gym have been poured.
- Tilt wall panels for the gym are being poured. These walls ar scheduled for erection in late Dec. 2008.
- Strurctural steel placement and wood framing are under way.
- Sewer line is being installed in 172nd street.
